A single span of 150 feet over the Contoocook River, this bridge has a town lattice design and was built in 1972 by Milton and Arnold Graton at a cost of $80,000. The engineering students of New England College assembled the bridge. It was dragged it across the river by a team of oxen.
Rt. 114 runs through the center of Henniker. As you cross the stone bridge, look to your right to see the bridge. You can park behind the Henniker Pharmacy back in the center of town, if you want to walk across the bridge.
