8). 217 North Main Street


On the left hand side of the street is a typical late-Federal- style brick house of two-chimney, central hall plan today called the "I-House" plan. This example, with its granite window lintels, is typical of a group of similar houses in and near Concord which date from the 1800's, and early 1830's. The doorway is probably a Colonial Revival addition.
