Back on August 1, 1984, a little black smoke and white boy, Mc Tarrby, was born in Tennessee to a friend named David Turner. David and I had known each other for a time, through the shows and he wanted a Shaded Silver Persian kitten. I had, at this point, gone into the Judging program for CFF and found it difficult to have someone else groom and show my cats and David offered to swap this gorgeous boy for a silver kitten. We did this and a friend brought him home for me. He was very exuberant and adventuresome as a kitten. I showed him when I could that Fall and he cleaned up. At that point in time, when he was about seven months old, he decided he knew what girls were all about and sired his first litter. It consisted of two straight eared girls, Mc Queenie a silver tabby and McAllister, a smoke tortie. Both these girls were bred back to Dad and produced litters that contained folded eared kids. Mc Allister gave me Mc Fergie , named after Sarah Ferguson, who went on to be Best Kitten in 1987-88. Meanwhile Mc Queenie gave me some boys , Mc Cloud and MaCavity , both of whom became Grand Champions easily and MaCavity has gone on to be a super stud.

In 1986, Phil Maggitti allowed me to use one of his girls, Wynsome Beaudeauxious Ta Ta’ with Mc Tarrby to give some additional lines. Ta Ta’ was a black and white longhair girl so this started me on toward the possibility of longhairs. This breeding produced MacAdamia , MacAdoo, and MacAdippie,(my nutty girls all shorthairs) who in turn have continued to give me super kittens. I had also purchased a tortoiseshell straight ear girl and use her to produce another line which included Mc Erin , who was a super smoke tortie/white girl who went on to be second Best Cat the same year that Fergie was Best Kitten. Wow! What an entry into the world of Scottish folds!!

The reign continued on to Fergie being second Best Cat the next year, followed by Mc Sparkle who was the Morris Animal Foundation’s Best Kitten in 1988-89 and she went on to be CFF’s second Best Kitten and Fourth Best Cat the same year. Unfortunately, due to my judging assignments, my winnings have been limited in the past few years. However, some noteworthy cats have been : Mc Magnifikatt, Mc Twinklette, Mc Bon Judee, Mc Monepenni, and currently Mc Calluna , Mc Wyte Knight, and Mc Doogl, and Mc Prinzz . From that point on - it’s all history so to speak. My girls and boys are being shown, many going to Master Grand, many producing winning kittens and we see our offspring throughout the world. I have had kittens go to France, Holland, Italy, Russia , Canada and many of the good old 50 US states.

Purrsonalities seem to be one of their outstanding attributes, as well as well balanced bodies, flexible tails, well folded ears, big expressive eyes, magnificent smoke coats, and exceptional mobility.

Kittens may be obtained by contacting me at bcube@capital.net and are available at varying times of the year. I always breed straight to fold sometimes using British Shorthair as occasional outcrosses. Pedigrees are available upon request.
